A Simple Concept with a BIG Impact!
100+ women x $100 + 1 hour = $10,000 + Local Impact
Our giving circle is a group of like-minded giving women who care deeply about the Anchorage community. We meet 4 times a year for 1 hour and hear from nonprofits that have been nominated by our circle members. Our members select one nonprofit, and each person contributes $100. The combined donations of approximately $10,000 makes an impact without time-consuming fundraising events and planning. Our mission and our hope is to provide for those in greatest need within the Anchorage municipality.

Since 1978, STAR has been responding to the needs of survivors of sexual assault, while integrating prevention and education programs with a goal of reducing harm to all Alaskans. STAR works to provide comprehensive, collaborative crisis intervention, advocacy, and support to victims/survivors, their families, and our communities, with the long term goal of ending sexual violence in Alaska.
